Hold the Date: Join us Nov 18 for the BC Rural Health Research Exchange

The inaugural BC Rural Health Research Exchange (BCRHRX) is a virtual half-day event filled with brief rapid-style presentations designed to inform, engage and share current rural research in British Columbia. This is not your Grandparents’ stodgy academic conference (elbow patches and tweed jackets are optional)! At this event, we want to find out together: “What sort of rural research is happening in BC?”

But wait, it gets better. The 2020 BCRHRX also provides an opportunity to engage patient–, indigenous– and community partners to identify current rural research gaps, collaborate, and co-produce future research directions.

If you’re a rural researcher, an indigenous or community partner, a patient, or somebody interested in rural research, this event is for you. Mark your calendar.

Registration for this free event is now open!

If you are working on a research project that benefits rural BC, we invite you to present at 2020 BCRHRX!

Whether you’re a rural researcher, medical trainee, community/Indigenous/patient partner, or an interested individual, send us your presentation proposal! This event will feature brief, rapid-style presentations (think PechaKucha!).
