If you’ve been waiting to sign up for the BC Rural Health Conference being held May 29-31 in Penticton, now is the time to register! View the online agenda now.
We’re offering pre-conference accredited courses in the days leading up to the BC Rural Health Conference. Choose from The CARE Course, HOUSE-OB, HOUSE-EM, CASTED: Emergency, or Practicing Wisely. There are also hands-on skills enhancement workshops for suturing, casting, PICC insertion, intubation, and MSK/joint injections – seating for these workshops is limited so sign up early to avoid disappointment. This year, we are offering a NEW Rural Research and Global Health Poster Presentation session – come and chat with rural BC clinicians who are conducting local/regional/global research!
As always – at the BC Rural Health Conference, you will have numerous opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the province. Check out the different socials, open meetings, and the rMEET Coffee Break – an event that enables one-on-one conversations between rural physicians in their first five years of practice and experienced rural providers.
Child care, wellness breaks (massage chair, yoga), and local activities are a regular part of this conference. Come to Penticton to learn, connect, and relax!
