Family physicians (FPs) engaged in enhanced surgical skills and/or obstetrical surgical skills services are invited to attend the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada’s ESS/OSS CME Day in Banff on Jan 15 and 16, 2020 in Banff, AB.
This program will update rural ESS surgeons with current methods, facilitate informal communication and encourage FP-Specialist networks. Once again, ESS and OSS FPs are encouraged to bring their OR nurse to this event to facilitate team-based interprofessional learning. A limited number of $500 bursaries are available for OR nurses attending this course, reducing registration costs for nurses to $50 per person. Apply now to avoid disappointment!
This one day course is designed for ESS / OSS Surgeons in conjunction with the University of Calgary’s Emergency Medicine for Rural Hospitals course and/or the Alberta Society for Endoscopic Practice’s Endoscopy Skills Day for Practicing Endoscopists course.
This course is accredited for 8.0 Mainpro+ credits.
