The BC Emergency Medicine Network is hosting a free lunch discussion about real-time virtual supports for emergency medicine care at the St. Paul’s Emergency Medicine Update in Whistler on September 27.
The group will discuss the landscape of virtual health in BC, and how EM contributes to it and explore how to ensure that virtual EM care plans incorporate the wisdom of future users. Questions that will be addressed include:
- What types of cases would benefit from an experienced EM colleague?
- What are the ideal characteristics of an EM colleague who would be called on for support?
- What is the right coverage model? How will this impact work flow?
