SRPC accepting abstracts for 2019 Rural and Remote Medicine Course

The Scientific Committee for the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada’s (SRPC) 2019 Rural and Remote Medicine Course is now accepting abstracts for workshops and research presentations related to any aspect of health and healthcare in a rural and remote setting. The group is particularly interested in presentations linked to the 2019 conference theme, Coastal Connections.

This coming year’s conference will be hosted in Halifax, NS from April 4-6, 2019. It will be an opportunity to share original research, learn, and connect with colleagues from across Canada and around the world.

All abstract submissions will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee. Multiple abstract submissions are welcomed.

Accepted workshop submissions will be allocated a 50 minute time slot, while accepted research abstracts will be allocated one of two presentation formats (oral or poster). If you would like to suggest a topic, refer a colleague, or be considered to speak at the 2020 event, please contact the SRPC at
