Save the date and join us for a great weekend of rural medical education and networking with colleagues from across the province! The annual BC Rural Health Conference – taking place in Nanaimo, BC – will run from Friday May 11 to Sunday, May 13, 2018.
The BC Rural Health Conference offers high quality CME/CPD in the areas of rural medicine, emergency medicine, and office-based practice. Additionally, the 2018 event will feature a half day of content specifically tailored for the educational needs of rural locums and rural residents.
There will also be a half day of Faculty Development for rural preceptors and residents on Friday, May 11. UPDATE: The faculty development event is no longer taking place concurrently with the BC RHC conference
Accredited stand alone courses, such as HOUSE (Hands On Ultrasound Education), will be offered ahead of the conference.
A faculty development event for rural preceptors will also offered before the main conference begins. Short hands-on workshops – such as airway management, and suturing – will be integrated into the main program from May 11-13.
Registration for the BC RHC will begin in early 2018. Watch the eNews or follow RCCbc on Twitter for updates. Or, email firstname.lastname@example.org to add yourself to the waitlist for the BC RHC – you’ll be one of the first to receive a conference brochure and registration package when they become available in 2018!
