BC Rural Health Conference online registration closes May 1

UPDATE: Online registration for the conference has been extended to Wednesday, May 3.

Online registration for the BC Rural Health Conference – taking place May 12-13 at the Prince George Civic Centre – will be closing Monday, May 1.

If you’re joining us for this great rural CME/CPD event but haven’t registered yet, there’s still time to sign up online (use this link). The conference will include interactive sessions, plenaries, small group learning, and hands on skills-enhancement workshops. Plus, there will be ample opportunity to network and socialize with rural and regional practitioners from all across BC! Download the conference brochure for a full list of sessions, open meetings, and workshops now.

This conference is accredited for up to 13.0 Mainpro+ and MOC Section 1 credits. Preceptors and residents are invited to participate in a free half day faculty development event – Northern Reflections Medical Education Day – hosted by UNBC and UBC Faculty Development on Thursday, May 11 ahead of the conference.

Free childcare is available during conference hours for parents interested in attending sessions and/or workshops.

If you are unable to register online by May 1, you can still register on site at the Prince George Civic Centre. Simply show up at the registration desk on either the evening of Thursday, May 11 for the Meet ‘n’ Greet Reception, or in the morning during the day(s) of the conference. You can pay by credit card, pick up a kit, and head straight into a session – simple and straightforward.

If you have questions about the conference, email conference@rccbc.ca for more information. We look forward to seeing you in Prince George!
