JSC funding for rural physicians to attend SRPC Annual Rural and Remote Medicine Course

Submitted by Doctors of BC

For the third year in a row, the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues (JSC) has approved funding of $1,000 for any BC rural doctor interested in attending the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada’s 25th Annual Rural and Remote Medicine Course on April 6 to 8, 2017. This year’s event takes place in Calgary at the Telus Convention Centre.

The SRPC’s Rural and Remote Medicine Course is one of Canada’s largest rural medical conferences, and gives rural doctors the opportunity to gain or upgrade vital skills, exchange knowledge, develop professional and social networks, and compare notes on the evolving field of rural medical practice.
