RCCbc’s annual rural conference is heading north!
The popular Rural Emergency Continuum of Care (RECC) conference will take place at the Civic Centre in Prince George on June 9 and 10, 2016.
Emergency medicine, rural nursing, and team-based interprofessional practice are just some of the topics that will be offered at this dynamic two day event. The RECC conference will provide participants with accredited continuing medical education (Mainpro and MOC Section 1 credits) through hands-on skills development workshops, interactive discussions, and plenary sessions.
Pre- and post-conference courses will be held in Prince George, Quesnel and Vanderhoof and will include The CARE Course, The Shock Course, Hands-On Ultrasound Skills Enhancement (HOUSE), CASTED, and Wilderness Medicine. A rural faculty development event will also be hosted for interested preceptors before the start of the 2016 RECC event.
If you would like to be involved in the development of the 2016 RECC program, or if you would like to volunteer during the event in June, please contact Elisa Chow, Specified Projects Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Interested sponsors may contact Andrea Longrigg at email@example.com for information about booking a display table for this event.
