Pre-conference courses confirmed for 2016 Rural Locum Forum

Rural locums perform an exercise from The CARE Course at the 2015 Rural Locum Forum in Nanaimo, BC

The 2016 Rural Locum Forum: Changes and Transformations conference will be offering four accredited, hands-on skills enhancement workshops on February 25 and 26, 2016 ahead of the conference.

ACLS, BLS, The CARE Course, and CASTED will be offered to Rural Locum Forum participants. Seats for these courses will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, and are not included in the conference registration fee.

The 2016 Rural Locum Forum will bring together rural BC locums, recent medical graduates, experienced physicians, and rural leaders to share experiences, case-based expertise, and ideas for innovation. Rural locums play a critical role in the support of BC’s rural healthcare system – the forum aims to provide locums with rurally-focused CME, networking opportunities, and a space to discuss important issues.
