How different is practicing medicine in rural BC? We need to hear from rural GPs about how primary care is changing in their communities.
The General Practice Services Committee (GPSC) has launched a province-wide engagement process to hear from as many GPs as possible about how they want to practice and care for their patients in the future.
Until the end of September, all BC family physicians can join the conversation on primary care by participating online and at in-person meetings. What the GPSC hears will help it create a vision for the future of primary care that will enable it to influence policy, set priorities, and allocate its budget over the next three to five years. The decisions made will impact all GPs, their practices and their patients.
