Do you have a favourite picture of rural BC that you’d like to show off? Have you got a great shot of rural healthcare workers in action? The Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc) is looking for your best photo of a rural BC landscape and/or your local BC rural healthcare team!
RCCbc is hosting a photo contest to find and feature the best of BC’s rural communities. There are two categories for entry: landscapes, and healthcare practitioner portraits. One overall photo will be selected as the winner of the contest and will be awarded our top prize, a portable pulse oximeter from Lions Gate Technologies. Honourable mentions in the landscape category, and in the health worker portrait category will win a small assortment of RCCbc swag.
To participate in this contest, email your submissions to RCCbc at firstname.lastname@example.org, or tweet them to @RCC_bc by April 30, 2015. All entries will be posted online for final viewing after the contest closes. The winning entries, chosen by RCCbc staff, will be announced in the May issue of BC Rural Update, the eNewsletter of the RCCbc.
