Help update RCCbc’s online Rural Communities Map

CommunityMap Healthcare resources and rural community amenities are listed in the RCCbc Community Map
The Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc) upgraded its web site on November 17, 2014, to improve users’ experiences on smartphones and tablets as well as desktop computers.

In addition to providing a site that sizes automatically to fit your handheld device, www.rccbc.ca is now equipped with drop down menus to facilitate navigation through five categories of information:

  • RCCbc (and other rural stakeholders)
  • Education and CME/CPD
  • Practitioner Support
  • Rural Communities
  • RCCbc Initiatives

BC Rural Communities Map – contribute your updates

Each of the communities listed on the BC Rural Community Map now features local healthcare information on one page, and community amenities and transportation information on a second page.

RCCbc recognizes that the volume of information available about BC’s rural communities is vast and may occasionally be out-of-date or inaccurate. We invite eNews readers, administrators, healthcare workers and rural community residents to submit content corrections and updates to Sharon Mah, Communications Manager. Your contributions will help improve this tool for the medical learners, potential healthcare recruits, and local rural residents across the province who regularly rely on the Community Map.

Have questions about the new RCCbc web site? Call Sharon Mah, Communications Manager, at 1-877-908-8222 or email smah@rccbc.ca for more information.
